Curriculum Vitae

I graduated in Anglophone Studies and German Philology (2-Fach Master) at University Duisburg-Essen in 2020. My Master’s thesis was called “Sweet Talk – Emotionalization and Emotional Language in News Discourse. A Sample Analysis of News Articles of the Singapore Summit 2018 and the Hanoi Summit 2019 by The Sun and The Guardian”. Currently, I am working on an individual dissertation to obtain my PhD supervised by Prof. Dr Birte Bös; my main focus is emotionalization and news writing. Further, I am teaching German language classes at the IOS (https://www.uni-due.de/ios/sprachkurse_e1.php) where I also worked as a student assistant from 2017 until 2019.
