Young Researcher Prize and Poster Awards For young Scientists
Young academics (PhD students, Postdocs) are invited to apply for the Young Researcher Prize for an outstanding publication within the field of the symposium`s topics. Simply send your publication until the 19th of August to crc1093@uni-due.de. Awardees are invited for a short presentation.
Furthermore young academics can submit an abstract for a poster presentation. Two posters will be awarded with a poster prize. You can send your poster abstract until 23rd of August, please use the abstract template on the right.
Cultural Event
We invite participants of the symposium to a guided tour in the afternoon of the 11th of September.The Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex was a coal mine from 1847 till 1987 in Essen. Today it is an industrial landmark. The Zollverein Shaft XII is one of the most important industrial monuments in Europe and belongs since December 2001 to the UNESCO world heritage.
