Supplementary oral examination

Dear students,

Those of you who can and want to make use of the option of a supplementary oral examination (see below) - and have not already indicated this during the inspection - must notify Ms. Keller-Münter (katja.keller-muenter@uni-due.de) by 11.04.2025.

Please provide your first name, surname, matriculation number and the subject in which the supplementary oral examination is to be held.

The question of whether a supplementary oral examination is possible at all and after which unsuccessful written examination attempt is based on the information in the examination regulations applicable to you. In all ISE degree programs, all specializations in EIT, Mechanical Engineering, Nanoengineering and Medical Technology, a supplementary oral examination is possible after the second unsuccessful written examination attempt in a written examination. This also applies to the courses offered by the Chair of eES for students of industrial engineering.

Of course, you must also have taken part in the written examination.

If you successfully pass the supplementary oral examination, the result of the written examination will be adjusted to 4.0.

For your preparation: In a supplementary oral examination, you will mainly be tested on basic understanding and knowledge. This means that the focus is less on calculations - these can be done in the time available anyway.
