GUIDE

With the Innovation Search Engine (INSE), GUIDE is implementing a unique project aimed at identifying and promoting key players relevant to start-ups and knowledge transfer at UDE. This is achieved through automated analysis of complex data sourced from both university databases and external information sources, significantly enhancing the efficiency of innovation screening and scouting.

The initial version of INSE already supports GUIDE start-up coaches by analyzing research data from publications, identifying the university's most critical research areas, and spotting emerging trends. Additionally, this browser-based tool allows for the integration of personnel data, linking research publications with the expertise of university staff. This feature makes the expertise of UDE researchers visible and facilitates networking.

Future updates will introduce more extensive analysis functions and incorporate additional sources of information such as patent and news data. INSE is already highlighting the considerable innovation potential at UDE.
