Research

I am interested in involving people in technical development and research. It is important to me that people, in all their complexity, are considered when developing, researching, and testing technological innovations and automation and that limitless adaptability is not assumed. Therefore, for me, the interaction between people and technology or between people, people, and technology is always in the foreground. I want to help put people in a position to use technology to their greatest advantage and influence socio-technical systems to do so. I am also very interested in how the social behavior of robots affects their interaction with people and their perception. My current research interests lie primarily in the HRI area concerning trust.
