Going Abroad

Are you an employee who would like to participate in the ERASMUS staff mobility programme for training and personal development purposes?

Good to know...
The International Office recommends that all students who wish to complete a period abroad as part of their studies (outgoing students) register on the Federal Foreign Office’s ELEFAND list for Germans abroad. This allows the embassy in each country to contact all German nationals there in case of a crisis.
Go abroad ambassadors
UDE’s go abroad ambassadors support students on their way towards a stay abroad. All of our go abroad ambassadors have studied or completed a placement abroad themselves and are happy to support their fellow students with help and advice.

Partner universities
UDE has more than 400 Erasmus+ agreements with European universities and over 100 exchange agreements with universities beyond Europe. As part of these agreements, students at UDE have the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters. You can use our search portal to get an overview of our partner universities.
