Thesis topic: Improving the Collaborative Learning Resource Annotation Module in CourseMapper

Description: The aim of the thesis is to improve the PDF and video annotation module in CourseMapper, an application that provides a platform for collaborative online learning. The improvements will be based on state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods and techniques to enhance the user experience, make the application more maintainable and structured, and introduce new functionality for collaboration between users. Specifically, the thesis aims to make modular improvements to the application, introduce real-time updates using web sockets, and improve the UI design of the annotation module to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. These enhancements will allow users to fully utilize the power of the annotation feature and collaborate more effectively with other users.
