Description

The field of recommender systems is facing challenging tasks, as it has been shown that many systems are not transparent to the user. As such, explanations regarding different aspects of the system are becoming more and more prevalent. The results of adquately implemented explanations include, for example higher user trust and satisfaction.

The goal of this thesis is to explain the user model with fitting visualizations and investigate how this can help the user to experience self-actualization.
