Thesis topic:  Content-based Exploration of Scientific Literature in PaperExplorer

Description: The aim of this thesis is to improve the content-based exploration in PaperExplorer. In PaperExplorer the user starts the exploration with one paper on which recommendations for other papers are generated. The user can then go on to further explore the shown publications. One way to explore scientific publications is by finding similar publications based on content. In this thesis, different strategies to explore scientific papers are investigated as well as how clustering techniques can be incorporated to foster further exploration based on content features.
