from A42 from Dortmund at the intersection Essen-Nord take the B224 in the direction of Essen and follow the signing Universität; at the intersection Gladbecker Straße turn right into Universitätsstraße.

from A42 from Duisburg go up to the exit Bottrop-Süd; then follow the signing Universität in the direction of Essen, at the intersection Segerothstraße turn left into Universitätsstraße.

from A40 from both directions take the exit Essen-Zentrum and follow the signing in the direction of Dorsten (B224); at Hans-Böckler-Straße turn right into Segerothstraße and then left into Universitätsstraße.
