Ethics Committee
Welcome
Upon request, the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Computer Science issues an opinion on the ethical justifiability of research projects involving human participants. In particular, it bases its work on the ethical guidelines and recommendations of the German Psychological Society. Legal aspects are not part of the research ethics review.
Applications can be submitted by all members of the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Please send your application (basic questionnaire incl. supporting material) to the following e-mail address: ethikkommission.informatik@uni-due.de
Applications can be submitted at any time. The processing time is usually 2-3 weeks. If you are planning to submit an application for funding and require an ethics vote, please contact the Ethics Committee at an early stage, as processing times and procedures may vary.
