Working Group of Empirical Political Science
Paul Vierus is a research assistant in the project ‘Democracy in Crisis: The Role of Emotions and Affective Polarization for Citizens’ Political Support During Threatening Events’ at the Department of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen (principal investigator Dr. Conrad Ziller). He received the master’s degree in sociology from the University of Cologne. Before joining the team, he worked as a project manager for a survey company. His main research interests include political support, political psychology, and statistical methods.
