The equality of women and men in research is a goal that still needs to be achieved. The University of Duisburg-Essen commits to the targets of gender equality. In collaboration with the Equal Opportunities team of the Faculty of Physics and the central Equal Opportunities team of the University of Duisburg-Essen, the CRC 1242 empowers its female researchers.

Childcare & Parent-Child-Office
For researchers with children there are various opportunities to enhance family and career. We provide a kids room with additional emergency childcare. Also, it can easily be used as a parent-child-office.
