Exciting labs, amazing lectures and exhibits: during the Wissensnacht Ruhr at the Faculty of Physics and the NanoEnergyTechnologyCenter (NETZ) on September 30, 2016, hundreds of visitors went on a discovery tour through the research activities at the Campus Duisburg. The pupils of grades 9 and 11 were fascinated, how exciting optics can be. On the occa-
