The conference was a forum for presentation and discussion of recent experimental and theoretical developments in the field of non-equilibrium dynamics excited by external stimuli such as light, ion, or electrical field pulses.

Scope
This conference provided a podium to present and to discuss recent results of experimental and theoretical work on non-equilibrium dynamic processes in condensed matter. In particular, we were interested in processes which are triggered by impulsive external stimuli such as pressure, particle, or electromagnetic field pulses. Thereby, the meeting aimed to contribute to the development of a comprehensive understanding of non-equilibrium lattice and electron dynamics in real materials, including those with reduced dimensionality.
