If you should need a replacement card because of loss or damage, a charge of 10.00 € is due for the library card of an external user or an University member who does not have a staff card or a student card.

You can apply for the replacement card in all branch libaries of the Duisburg-Essen University Library. Please note our current opening times and service information.

The charge of 10.00 € for issuing a replacement is paid at the pay machine or the lending desk. Please present the same documents used for your first library card when applying for a new one.

If you have lost your library card, please remember to have it disabled it in order to exclude misuse!
