Open Journal Systems (OJS)

With OJS, the UL provides a system that can be used to represent the editorial processes during the production of an anthology or journal.

OJS offers a broad role and rights management that allows editors, reviewers, layouters, authors, etc. to participate in the editorial process in their various roles. Authors can submit directly to OJS, write to editors/reviewers, and view the submission process transparently at any time. This ensures a smooth and clear process during the creation of the OA publication.

Please note that OJS is not used as a publication platform at UDE. The publication of full texts takes place exclusively via DuEPublico. However, it is possible to publish the metadata of the anthology or journal via OJS and search the journal's metadata there.

If you are interested, please contact the DuEPublico team .

DuEPublico

In addition to individual e-publications, series and journals can also be published Open Access on DuEPublico. In addition to classic journals, this category on DuEPublico also includes annual conference proceedings, project reports or documentation. In addition to the familiar advantages, such as permanent archiving and citation options as well as worldwide accessibility, series and journals are given their own navigation area, in which, for example, searches can be carried out within the individual series and journals. Interested readers can subscribe to an RSS feed and be informed immediately about new publications.

Advice on copyright and licenses

In contrast to individual publications, the publication rights must also be clarified before planning and creating a series, journal or collective work. It is necessary to consider who will assign which rights to whom and how a publication can be planned most sensibly. Ideally, you should clarify these issues before authors submit their first contributions, so that the publication process is as transparent as possible for all parties involved right from the start. The DuEPublico team will be happy to advise you on copyright and licenses for publications within the series, journals and collective works.
