Textbook Collection

The textbook collection of the UL

This special collection has its origins in the former Institut für Schulbuchforschung e.V. of the Gesamthochschulbibliothek Duisburg (1977 - 1991).

It comprises about 7500 volumes published between 1879 and 2008.

The focus is on the period 1960 to 1970, with only teaching materials for primary and secondary schools up to grade 10 represented.

The main focus of the collection is the subject of German language with more than 6000 titles.

Furthermore, you will find textbooks on science subjects, religion, music, geography and politics.

All titles are listed in the Primo catalogue.
