Benefits for members of the University of Duisburg-Essen

• The contract with ASME entitles UDE authors (corresponding authors) from UDE 50% discount on APCs for articles in the publisher's hybrid journals

Requirements

• You are a member of the UDE and responsible for submitting the article as corresponding author
• UDE students can apply for article funding if a member of the supervising faculty supports or approves the publication of the paper. In these cases, funding is only granted upon application and is decided on a case-by-case basis
• The University of Duisburg-Essen or the University Hospital must be specified as the first affiliation
