Creative-Commons-License
The Creative-Commons-License covers various license models, with whom the author can define the rights of use for his work. The following license models are available:

„Noncommercial“ includes that you are not allowed to index an article on Google, or on a database or in print-on-demand services.
DDC
The Dewey Decimal Classification is the most commonly used classification system to arrange publications, for example the e-dissertations and e-publications at DuEPublico. So when you register your publication, please select its subject.
DOI
Digital Object Identifier, like URN, is also a ‚Persistent Identifier‘ that allows permanent identification and reliable citability of an online publication. The DOIs are administrated by and are reported to the International DOI Foundation (IDF).
DDPL
There is also the Digital Peer Publishing License of the ‚Initiative für Innovation in der wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation‘. DPPL was created for scientific purposes, taking into account important issues of scientific communication such as citability and permanent accessibility as well as the contents‘ integrity and authenticity. It supports the spreading of scientific publications via the internet. The basic rights of use remain with the authors. The license supports Open Access. It is possible to indicate the license and its location in the description field „Rechtliche Bedingungen“ within the DuEPublico entry mask.
Embargo
The contractually agreed period, which must be taken into account between the first publication by the publisher and a second publication, is called the embargo period.
Long term storage
Constant technological progress entails permanently changing software and hardware. DuEPublico guarantees long-term archiving of electronic documents.
Licenses
By granting a license you state how your propietary work may be used further. The most widely known licenses are the CC-Licenses (Creative-Commons-Licenses).
Open Access
Open Access means that you can freely access scientific literature and other media on the internet. Open Access publications may be read, downloaded, saved, linked and printed without any financial, legal or technical restrictions.
URN
Uniform Ressource Name is a persistent identifier for an online publication. It is administrated by the ‘Deutsche Nationalbibliothek’ and allows the reliable citability of your publication.
