Event safety is a small team within the unit for Occupational Safety & Health, staffed by Thomas Müller, Mark Esser, Daniel Feist as well as Agnes Werner and Susanne Garvens.

We provide support relating to compliant proceedings in accordance with the North Rhine-Westphalian special building regulations (Sonderbauverordnung NRW; SBauVO NRW) for special events such as fairs, conferences and ceremonies.

Furthermore, we offer event organisers at UDE training courses on keeping places of public assembly safe in line with the North Rhine-Westphalian special building regulations.
