About the Project
The BMBF-funded collaborative project “HSU-Interregio: Researching, developing and networking heritage language teaching in an interdisciplinary and interregional way” combines multi-perspective and transnational approaches to heritage languages and heritage language teaching (HSU) in Germany and links the perspectives of research and teaching practice.
As part of the three-year series of events, academics actively shape the network in qualification phases together with experts on topics that build on each other:
- Acquisition of the language of origin in the family
- Language of origin teaching (at school),
- extracurricular activities.
