Warum bei uns Ostasienwissenschaften studieren?
Wir beschäftigen uns mit China, Japan, Korea und Taiwan aus politikwissenschaftlicher, soziologischer und wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Unser BA-Studiengang Moderne Ostasienstudien (BA MOAS) unterscheidet sich von Japanologie (oder Japanstudien), Koreanistik (Koreastudien) und Sinologie (Chinastudien), denn bei uns steht das gegenwärtige Ostasien im Mittelpunkt. Sie lernen bei uns eine von drei Fachdisziplinen (Politikwissenschaft, Soziologie oder Wirtschaftswissenschaft) und eine von drei Fremdsprachen (Chinesisch, Japanisch oder Koreanisch). Ein ganzes Jahr studieren Sie zudem an einer unserer Partneruniversitäten in Ostasien. Sie werden Teil eines Studiengangs, der sich durch gute Betreuung und studierfreundliche Gruppengrößen auszeichnet, und das in der Region Düsseldorf/Niederrhein, die in Deutschland die höchste Dichte an Einrichtungen, insbesondere Firmen, aus Ostasien aufweist.
