Carola Hommerich and Jun Imai awarded

Two former members of the IN-EAST, Carola Hommerich and Jun Imai, were awarded with a prize by the President of Education and Training of Hokkaido University

Carola Hommerich, associate professor at the University of Hokkaido, received the Excellence Award as recognition of her outstanding performance. In a university-wide survey of the provided training and curriculum she was elected as "Excellent Teacher". Furthermore, in a comprehensive evaluation of teaching curriculums she ranked highest.

Jun Imai, associate professor at the University of Hokkaido, was awarded with the Encouragement Award in particular for his extensive contributions to the Super Global University project which is part of the Hokkaido Universal Campus Initiative.
