GRK 1613 Retreat Beijing 2016 - February 22-24

Our annual field research retreat will take place at the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion, providing mid-term support to PhD students conducting field research in East Asia.

Their respective PhD advisors, plus two postdoctoral researchers, will be present at the retreat to give immediate feedback on their fieldwork reports, to advise them on the continuation of their projects and to develop techniques to handle and analyze the collected data. This support will enable the students to improve their research designs, which will ultimately lead to higher quality research.
