Book Review by Hannes Mosler
Review of: Top-Down Democracy in South Korea. By Erik Mobrand. Seattle: University of Washington Press, 2019. 201 pp. ISBN: 9780295745473 (paper)
This book offers an insightful view of South Korea’s democratization and democracy, providing yet another buoy for scholars to navigate the country’s dynamic developments. Overall, Top-Down Democracy is quite a stimulating read that greatly contributes to the discussion on democracy in South Korea and elsewhere, and thus it should be available in any well-assorted East Asia library section.
