Working Group of Empirical Political Science
Jonas Elis is a research assistant and manager of the Immigrant German Election Study II. IMGES II repeatedly surveyed immigrant-origin individuals during an electoral campaign in Germany for the first time. Jonas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Survey Methodology from the University of Duisburg-Essen. During his studies, he spent time in Oslo (COST Action STSM) and Ghana (internship in the 2021 Population Census) in connection with his survey research. His main research interests include migration studies, welfare state research, survey methodology, and data science.
