From September 3-6, 2018, the CRC 1242 organized an international conference on "Non-equilibrium Dynamics of Condensed Matter in the Time Domain".

Our conference was a forum for presentation and discussion of recent experimental and theoretical developments in the field of non-equilibrium dynamics excited by external stimuli such as light, ion, or electrical field pulses.

From April 25-27, 2018, a discussion workshop on "Light field induced dynamics in low dimensional systems" took place. The meeting was organized by Hrvoje Petek (University of Pittsburg, USA) and Uwe Bovensiepen and hosted by the CRC 1242.
