Organisational rules of use

The PC workstations are available to all users of the University Library and are primarily intended for study, teaching and research purposes.

PC workstations for UDE members:
Login with your UDE identification (= Unikennung) is required for unrestricted use.

PC workstations for guests (walk-in users):
External users can access data stored on University of Duisburg-Essen servers, the Primo catalogue and licensed electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases) at some PC workstations in the GW/GSW and LK branch libraries without logging in.

In the event of shortages, the library can restrict the period of use and free up occupied workstations for other users. University members are given priority over external users. The library may exclude individual Internet addresses from use in justified individual cases.
