Krystina Mensing
Krystina Mensing studied English and Spanish at WWU Münster and the Universidad de Granada (Spain) and graduated with a master’s degree (Master of Education für das Lehramt an Gymnasien und Gesamtschulen) in 2019. During her studies, she was involved in several projects dealing with heterogeneity in the foreign language classroom. Apart from that, she worked as a language assistant teacher at IES La Madraza in Granada, Spain.
As part of the EFL Education team and the BMBF project ProViel – Professionalisierung für Vielfalt (https://www.uni-due.de/proviel/englisch-inklusiv/), her research revolves around inclusive EFL education and the development of teaching concepts for inclusive EFL education. In her PhD project, she is conducting research on reading and spelling difficulties (RSD) with the aim of developing and evaluating an intervention concept to prevent RSD in early primary EFL education.
