Fire safety officers deal with all issues relating to fire safety and have acquired relevant qualifications.

The fire safety officers’ duty is to advise and support the University in all matters relating to fire safety in order to ensure safe university operations. This is primarily about preventing fires entirely or stopping them from spreading. If a fire does occur, all measures required to extinguish an incipient fire and to allow occupants to leave the building without getting harmed must have been put in place.

To ensure effective fire protection structures, fire safety inspections are carried out on a regular basis.
