PhD Symposium 2024
The CRC 1430 PhD Symposium 2024 took place on September 23rd and 24th at Gartenhotel Fettehenne in Erkrath, gathering over 30 participants, almost exclusively PhD students. This symposium provided our PhD students with an opportunity to present their projects and engage in scientific dialogue in a friendly and constructive environment. Our PhD students embraced this chance with enthusiastic participation in all sessions, fostering collaboration and gaining insights from colleagues with diverse perspectives.
In addition to scientific sessions, networking activities, like card games and “viking chess”, helped strengthen team cohesion.
The event was a great success, contributing to both the professional development and camaraderie of all participants, with benefits that will extend into future endeavors.
