Retreat 2023
The Annual Retreat 2023 of our CRC1430 took place from June 5 to June 7 at the Hotel Mutterhaus in Düsseldorf Kaiserswerth. With the participation of more than 50 project members and participants, we were able to exchange the latest findings straight from the CRC 1430 labs.
During the retreat, our researchers presented the progress made in the individual projects and shared the results of collaborations between different teams. The three-day trip was filled with insightful sessions that sparked engaging discussions and provided valuable insights into the CRC's research. Furthermore, our poster session held on both evenings showcased the impressive work of our CRC 1430 PhDs and Postdocs.
While the retreat primarily focused on science-related sessions, we believe that successful collaboration goes beyond work-related activities and the academic setting. Who says science can't be fun? That is why we organized a city tour through Kaiserswerth on the second day. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax, have fun, and strengthen bonds with fellow colleagues while exploring the oldest district of Düsseldorf.
All contributions and the engagement of PIs, PhDs, and Postdocs were instrumental in creating a productive and enjoyable retreat and made this event an enormous success. We look forward to continuing the momentum generated during this retreat!
Congratulations!
