Voting on the calendar motifs for 2024

Also this year we would like to offer all employees of the UDE and UKE the opportunity to support us in the selection of calendar motifs for the "Life Beyond Vision Calendar 2024". The following voting to determine the most beautiful contributions will be open from 25.09. to 06.10.2023. We are again very excited to see which contributions will make it into the print edition of the calendar.

All images are the property of the users and/or IMCES. Accordingly, we prohibit their unauthorized use without first obtaining a consent form.

  • The calendar will contain a total of 13 motif elements: 1 cover image and 12 monthly images. Accordingly, we would like to ask all participants to enter up to 13 motifs in the selection form under the motif presentation. For this purpose, please enter only the blank motif numbers without further text in the corresponding fields.
  • The order in which the motifs are entered does not matter. Only the first motif should correspond to the title motif. This choice will be counted double, i.e. with 2 votes.
  • Among all votes, the motifs with the 13 most mentions will be determined at the end. The motif with the highest voting result will be selected as the cover image.
  • If there is more than one image from an obvious series of images among the 13 most voted motifs, we will only include the image with the most votes from this series in the calendar.
  • All employees with an e-mail address of the University of Duisburg-Essen or the University Hospital Essen are eligible to vote. Votes with e-mail addresses of a different format and duplicate votes from one e-mail address will be sorted out.
  • The final voting results will be published on the IMCES homepage.
  • Five "Life Beyond Vision 2024" calendars will be raffled among all participants. The result of this raffle will also be announced here.
