Also this year we would like to offer all employees of the UDE and UKE the opportunity to support us in the selection of calendar motifs for the "Life Beyond Vision Calendar 2025". The voting to determine the most beautiful contributions will be open from 04.10. to 18.10.2024. 

As a novelty this year, we have renovated the Voting Page to make this process simpler and clearer. The interim results can be viewed up to the hour on the  Evaluation Page, which has also been redesigned.

We are again very excited to see which contributions will make it into the print edition of the calendar.

• The calendar will contain a total of 13 motif elements: 1 cover picture and 12 monthly pictures. Accordingly, we would like to ask all participants to select exactly this number of motifs on the voting page linked above.

• In the end, the cover picture and the 12 monthly motifs with the most entries will be chosen from all the votes. 

• If there is more than one picture from an obvious picture series among these 13 most voted motifs, we will only include the picture with the most votes from this series in the calendar.

• All employees with an e-mail address at the University of Duisburg-Essen or Essen University Hospital are eligible to vote. Votes with e-mail addresses of a different format and duplicate votes from the same e-mail address will be rejected. External e-mail addresses of former colleagues or external IMCES users are an exception. 

• The final voting results will be published on the IMCES homepage.

• In keeping with tradition, five “Life Beyond Vision 2025” calendars will be raffled off among all participants. The result of this draw will also be announced here.
