Research data management (RDM) - an integrated database and standardised analysis of experimental data
CRC 1430 generates considerable amount of data that needs to be processed, shared and stored subsequently. Therefore, research data management becomes a vital and essential process to ensure data accessibility for collaborative studies and to facilitate innovative research. In order to facilitate research data infrastructure and management within CRC, INF project provides a well-designed and structured approach to manage, process and share scientific data originating from the CRC projects by ensuring data storage and sharing via Nextcloud; implementing electronic laboratory notebook – eLabFTW for documentation of laboratory data, processes and database; introducing an open source software platform – OMERO as a central repository and searchable database for image data; building a central information platform – Dataverse to integrate all research data and their documentation enriched with metadata.
The user manual and terms of usage of Nextcloud can be found here.
